Littleton Foot Bridge

I'm continuing on my HDR photographic explorations and here's a photo that I took recently in Littleton, New Hampshire. The pedestrian bridge crosses the Ammonoosuc River.

HDR on the Rocks

I just purchased a copy of Photomatix and now I'm attempting to get up to speed with HDR style of shooting. And so here's on of my first HDR creations. I am shooting with a Sony a6000 mirrorless camera and in recent weeks have been using fine jpg format rather than RAW. I used jpg format for the following picture shooting (obviously) at sunset three shots with +/- 2 EV . This photo was taken near the Big Meadows Lodge on the Skyline Drive in Shenandoah National Park.

Dragon*Con Beauties

Here's a photo that I took before our band started parading through the downtown Atlanta Streets as part of the big Dragon*Con Parade. These three are not in the band.

Medicine Pickup

I actually got out of the house early enough this morning not to be completely fried by the sun. I was in downtown Decatur at a reasonably hour for a medicine pickup at Kaiser Permanente, and on the way back to my car this scene caught my fancy.

Lawrenceville Lamp

This photo was taken after we just left a restaurant in Lawrenceville Georgia. I had to crop it a fair bit since it was at an intersection and cars kept pulling up and positioning themselves in the frame. I think I like the present composition.

Red Umbrella

A few weeks ago my wife and I were having lunch in downtown Decatur sitting outdoor, and I just pointed my camera up. This is what I saw.

Blue Sky Reflections

I liked this shot, taken at the same position as the King and Queen photo. It another mid day photo, but it turned out to be rather intriguing, and I find I'm needing to go onto Google Maps to check the exact building that I'm photographing since I don't remember that part of the hospital sitting over the parking deck.
